Sculptures 2005-2008
26 Photos of Ian's work.
During this period Ian was very influenced by the Chinese 'Tang Ware' and Stoke on Trent decorative chimney pieces of the 19th Century. Each piece is decorated with multiple layers of glaze and some are fired up to three times. They are all fired to 1080c.

Sculptures 2000-2005

Alongside Ian's infamous salt glaze work he produced a series of work influenced by gaicometti. This work was fired to stoneware using a barium glaze with additives.

Ceramics 1970-80
Invitation to Christie's auction of the Martin Brothers, potters wheel, shops and pots. All these pieces are salt glazed using various slips to in-hanse the surfaces.
Salt Glaze Ceramics 1960-70
Ian was working as an actor and singer in the 1960's, but soon gave it up in order to spend more time with his young family in Dorset and to push his ceramics career. Some examples of which can be seen in the V&A Museum.
